Martyn’s bio
Martyn A. Dell is the founder of both Joyful Changes Coaching and Heart’s Write. Both businesses specialize in helping the GLBT community live more peaceful, joyful, fulfilling, and stress-free lives. Martyn serves her community by providing coaching and writing services.
Martyn was certified as a Comprehensive Life and Business Coach through The Coaching Institute in 2006. Writing and coaching are Martyn’s way of making a mark upon the world. She wants to leave this world having made a difference in people’s lives.
Prior to becoming a coach, Martyn gained over 17 years of customer service experience in diverse fields such as libraries, retail stores, call centre tech support, Federal and Provincial government legal departments, and non-profit organizations. There was a definite pattern here!
Martyn is the co-author, with 9 other coaches, of the book In Her Power which helps women discover their power through chapters on purpose, peace, and play. She is also a contributor to the second volume of Top Coaches Share which is entitled 12 Top Coaches Share Their Personal Power Strategies. In this collection, Martyn shared her power of faith in herself and the Universe. Along with her coach, Jo Romano, Martyn contributed to the third Top Coaches Share volume entitled Top Coaches Share Their Personal Action Strategies. In this volume, Martyn and Jo shared their inspiring story of how Jo coached Martyn through the first seven months of her coming out journey.
Martyn lives in beautiful London, Ontario with her 18-year old kitty Cocoa. She enjoys reading, writing, yoga, volunteering, and surfing the Internet when she has a rare moment of spare time.
