WOW Welcome to 2008!  I hope that you are as excited as I am!  So many things
  happening with Top Coaches this year.Lets get right to it!

Updates for
  Volume 3

I am waiting for a sample of Top Coaches Share
  Volume 3 from the printer.  Once I have that I will do some
  last minute update to the sales page and we can really get this show
  on the road.

I am testing a new book cover design – the original seemed too
  “busy”, let me know what you think. It is big so it takes a minute
  to open.

Updates for Vol 1 & 2

I  have received a few of the publishing contracts please keep them
  coming in!

Great things to come in 2008

  In order to help me organize and help secure all the material I am
  in the process of building a Membership site for Top Coaches.
  There will be a public section and a member section, the project
  will be ongoing most of the next 6 months.

In the Public Section:

  • Vol 1 & 2 – Downloads
  • Promotions for other volumes
  • Bookstore
  • Referral Directory
  • Top Coaches Interviews (yes you will all get a change to be
      interviewed)

In the Member Section

  • Each volume of the book will have secure sections that
      only authors can access.
  • Members Mastermind discussions and events
  • Book Marketing Learning Center

Just to name a few of the plans I have, cool huh!�
  Look for an launch party invitation early in March.

This does mean that I am going to be focusing on the new
  site so you will not see as many Newsletters.  Keep an
  eye on the blog that will be updated weekly.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I wanted to send a quick little note,
just to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about the Newsletter
for this week.

But as you might have guessed I am very focused on getting things
in order for Top Coaches Share Volume 3(digital version) to be
launched. Early next week is the timeline, still a bunch of things
on my task list.

And a great offer for you guys!  All Coaches that have are
not participating in Volume 4 can reach a Draft copy….

One condition though, I would like to gather your
comments/testimonials about how great the book is :)   These
comments may be used on the website and in the book marketing
material. The comments/testimonials need to be detailed and of
value, “great book…” is not enough.  You will need to put
your thinking caps on and really dig into the book.

Your comments will be credited to you and you will have your name
and website listed. A good deal all around!

Sometimes I get a little worried that I am not getting enough
  done…. then I come to my senses and see that things happen when
  they are suppose to happen and worrying about it just makes me feel
  bad, and I DON’T like feeling that way. I have to say I was getting a little lazy with creating a list of
  things that I wanted to accomplish each day, with out the focus I
  get distracted easily :)   I am sure you know what I mean.�

  Building Your List with Paid eZine
  Advertising
  Some Internet Marketers can get clueless when it comes to unleashing
  the full potential of paid eZine advertising. One of the most common
  dilemmas is that whether should the Internet Marketer advertise the
  product or service he is selling directly to the subscribers of the
  eZine he is paying advertising for?

  This can be a wise method, but with ifs and buts. For one, the
  advertisement must be compelling and attention grabbing. Secondly,
  there is no telling if the eZine’s subscribers constantly practice a
  buying habit until you put some money to find out.

  Investing even a small sum of money can be risky to a number of
  Internet Marketers who are on tight budgets. But in spite of the
  risk factors, eZine advertising can still be rewarding, if done

  1. Use a “P.S.” at the end of your ad copy. This is were you either
  want to repeat a strong benefit or use a strong close like a free
  bonus.

  2. Publish a free ebook and give it away from your web site or in
  your e-zine. This will increase your traffic, sales and e-zine
  subscribers.

  3. Create multiple streams of income with your web site. You could
  sell your own products, join affiliate programs, sell advertising
  space, etc.

  4. Give your visitors compliments in your ad copy. This can earn
  their trust and put them in a good mood, in return they will be
  easier to sell too.

  5. Create new products or services only if there is a strong need
  for them. You won’t have anyone to sell them to if you don’t have a
  market.

  6. Sell your backend products to your customers right after they
  order. Take them to a “Thank You” web page that includes other
  products you sell.

  7. Sell a few products on your web site instead of selling a large
  amount of products. To many choices can overwhelm your visitors and
  they won’t buy.

  8. Include content and free stuff on your web site that promote the
  products you’re selling. If they don’t read your ads, they may read
  your offerings.

  9. Remind your visitors that you’re human not just a web site. You
  could publish information on your family life, a picture of yourself
  , a profile, etc.

  10. Provide a “Contact Page” on your web site. Give your visitors as
  many options to contact you as possible. This’ll add credibility to

Phew! another great week. Draft 3 of Top Coaches Volume 3 is out.
A couple more little things to get done and we will be flying.

The 3 Best eZine Formats

eZine publishers today use any one or more of the 3 most commonly
used eZine formats which I am about to describe to you in this
article.

Ultimately, you can decide which format is the best choice for you,
though each winning format has its pros and cons.

The text eZine is the most commonly published. The advantage of this
format is that other than writing, you do not require any special
skill to use a Word or Notepad program.

While the HTML eZine format requires a certain degree of HTML skills
on your part, you can add more sophisticated features to your eZine
issues, making them more appealing to your subscriber thus increases
your readership value, something that text eZines do not have.

You can decorate your eZine format, change your fonts, include
pictures, and more. However, the drawback often faced by HTML eZines
is that they often get trapped into spam filters before they reach
their subscribers’ inboxes.

The third and least used among the 3 formats is the PDF eZine.
Publishing your eZine in PDF format can consume a lot of time and
effort on your part but often make up in quality readership

Due to the commitment, PDF eZines are usually published on a monthly
basis. The great part, though, is that you can put in your affiliate
links in your PDF eZine issue and allow your subscribers to pass the
eZine issue around.

Given the choices, however, you do not have to necessarily choose
strictly one eZine format, as some eZine publishers today do publish
in more than one format.
